Arterial Kasanova will fix the Bulls

First off, I am too lazy to google how to spell his name. Secondly, you clicked this and read it, so that’s on you. Anyway, although he didn’t bring Anthony Davis here, or make a huge trade, AK has already succeeded early on. Firing Jim Boylen, and hiring Billy Donovan. A+ already, because if he didn’t fire Boylen, that means ownership would be suckered by John Paxson and we can’t have that. The Bulls front office has brought in some role players to assist this young core of guys. They didn’t have to be flashy in year 1, but I’m sure they could’ve pushed to get a big time free agent if they wanted, but this is the safer route with the uncertainty that is a COVID filled year. So Garrett Temple, Noah Vonleh, and Zach Norvell are here to fill some spots and see what the young core can do. The drafting of Patrick Williams brought a ton of confusion to those who haven’t watched much ACC basketball. Rightfully so, as he didn’t start for Florida State, but his coach Leonard Hamilton stated “he didn’t have to start games, because he finished them” which is a much more enticing quality to be known for. The ever plugged up backcourt with Kris Dunn, Zach Lavine, Coby White, Ryan Arcidiacono, and Shaq Harrison was cleared up this offseason with the departures of Dunn and Harrison. Billy Donovan stating Coby White will be the primary ball handler for his offense. Again, A+, to play off Zach Lavine, Otto Porter, Lauri Markkanen, and Wendell Carter, Jr. The key for the Bulls is going to be health as it is for most teams every year. Their depth is scarce, especially in the front court. Thaddeus Young, Cristiano Felicio, and Daniel Gafford isn’t really the depth that scares anyone. That have decent forward depth with Satoransky who can also act as a guard, Patrick Williams, Noah Vonleh, and Garrett Temple. Chandler Hutchinson is really in a pivotal time in his career after not showing much in his first year, then having an injury riddled 2nd season. He’s going to need to prove he can stay on this team. I am excited for the first time in a long time about the Chicago Bulls, and oh let’s not leave out Marc Eversley and the work he has done as well. Everyone is talking about AK, but this isn’t the same Paxson/Forman type front office, and they are better off for it.
