KC Chiefs’ Star TE has helped pop singer Taylor Swift rise to fame.

Kansas City – The Kansas City Chiefs have been the talk of football since QB Patrick Mahomes started under center in 2017. Noted TE Travis Kelce is a favorite target for Mahomes and this duo is virtually a household name now.

But recently, Kelce’s lesser-known duo is grabbing hold of the spotlight, rubbing up to near Mahomes-level popularity.

For those who don’t know, a few months ago, Kelce began dating burgeoning pop singer Taylor Swift. This move arguably pushed Ms. Swift into national relevancy and even into a household name across the country-especially in football-focused homes. This is a huge move for Swift who finally got her “big break” from a big star.

The internet tells me Travis Kelce isn’t the first person to date Taylor Swift and vice versa. An in depth Google search confirms Kelce is the first athlete Swift has held hands with and Swift the first musician for Kelce-a big change of their usual behavior. This means both Kelce and Swift are breaking into new types with this relationship-a power move for Taylor as she looks to build her popularity.

If you’ve watched the Chiefs lately, you’ve more than likely seen the camera pan over to a suite to showcase America’s Sweetheart, Momma Kelce. A prominent female influencer such as herself deserves this airtime and it’s incredibly important to show support for your loved ones. Being seen in the presence of Mrs. Kelce is a great PR strategy by Ms. Swift to expand on her airtime and get her face on screen.

Taylor Swift is freshly off the first leg of The Eras Tour, an effort to highlight all her musical eras. Rumor is this tour has faired quite well for Ms. Swift and it’s clear that Travis Kelce’s decision to attend several shows as a fan is a huge factor in this. As a master of his craft, Kelce is able to provide support and tips on how Swift can do this herself. We at ASS commend this effort.

All in all, Taylor Swift was obviously in need of a boost to skyrocket her popularity, and what better way to do so than by dating superstar athlete Travis Kelce? So thank you, Travis and family, for helping throttle a pop star to unbelievable fame perhaps never able to be achieved on her own.
